Sewing for Beginners

This course is for the beginning sewer.  As a participant in this class, you want to be introduced to sewing to use for your personal wardrobe and/or professional reasons.  You must have a passion for making clothes and accessories.  This course is made for serious sewing learners.  This course will build your knowledge and skills to get you to the next level of sewing or just a hobby. 

Also, if you have the desire to start your own sewing and tailoring business, you need to first know the basic.  Learning to sew will provide an opportunity to save economically.  This course will cover the tools and resources needed to prepare a garment through to actually making a basic garment.

Optional:  Personal sewing machine may be brought to each class.

This course is offered through the Adult Learning Center (ALC), Virginia Beach, VA.
